To copy your music from the iPod, please do the following:

1 - Right click on the iPod's icon in your taskbar and select "Open in Explorer"

2 - Open the "Music" folder (or "Music and Videos", on video-capable iPods)

3 - Open the "All Music" folder

4 - Select (highlight) the songs you would like to copy from the iPod, or press control-A to highlight all songs

5 - Right-click on one of the selected files and choose "Send To"

6 - Choose the destination from the submenu (your iTunes or Windows Media Player libraries, or a folder on your computer)

Your files will then be copied to the selected destination. You can use the same process to copy photos (through the "Photos" folder) or videos.
